We're growing our flock every month but are currently seeing patients in the following states:

Does Seven Starling accept my insurance?

Answer +

98% of Seven Starling members get their care covered by insurance. Seven Starling accepts most commercial insurance plans as well as Medicaid in many states. Use our free insurance checker here to see if your plan is covered or book a free consult here with one of our friendly care coordinators and they can check your insurance benefits directly as well as help you get started. How am I matched with a therapist?

Answer +

Matching you to a Seven Starling therapist that fits your needs is incredibly important to us. After you sign up for Seven Starling, we’ll ask you a number of questions about your individual preferences, therapy goals, and mental health history. We’ll use this information to match you with a therapist that we think will be a great fit for you. We'll also share a bio of your therapist in advance so you can get to know who will be supporting you. 98% of Seven Starling members stay with their first match, but we're always happy to accommodate rematches as long as there is availability.

What is group therapy?

Answer +

Group therapy at Seven Starling is optional, but incredibly powerful. Our therapist-led small groups consist of 10 or fewer members and are organized by life stage — such as fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, loss, and menopause. Each session includes educational and self-care tools, with the option to share your experience or simply listen. Our groups are designed as an extension of individual therapy, offering a supportive community space to reflect and build on your one-on-one work. In group therapy, there is an added kind of healing — the kind that comes from being with others who understand. It is the relief of hearing someone else put words to something you have felt but have not known how to say.

Does Seven Starling offer medication management?

Answer +

Yes! Many women suffering from mental health challenges can benefit from a combination of therapy and medication. Women’s mental health needs specialized, comprehensive care that addresses the whole person, not just isolated symptoms. That’s why Seven Starling takes a holistic approach where we don’t just treat symptoms but explore what is contributing to them, support you with evidence-based interventions, and empower you with the tools to thrive.

When you get started with care, you will be assigned a dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) who specializes in women’s mental health care. Your PMHNP will conduct a comprehensive intake to fully assess your needs and create a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication but could also include lifestyle recommendations related to nutrition, sleep, and exercise.

What is the membership cancellation policy?

Answer +

Cancel your subscription anytime, no questions asked. Let us know you would like to cancel by emailing us at support@sevenstarling.com.
